Galapagos Last Day - Depart for Home
This morning you'll make a visit to the Interpretation Center on San Cristobal Island, a great chance to learn about the human history and impact in the Galapagos Islands. Later you'll be transported to the San Cristobal Airport for your flight back to the mainland to connect home.
Galapagos Day Seven
You'll spend today exploring Santa Cruz Island, the most populated of the Islands and where you'll find the famous Charles Darwin Research Station. Visit the station and learn about ongoing conservation efforts and view a variety of animals. In the afternoon you'll be driven into the highlands of Santa Cruz for lunch at a reserve and walks through the landscape to view giant tortoises. Back to the ship for dinner.
Galapagos Day Six
This morning you'll visit the unique Elizabeth Bay at Isabela Island for a panga (zodiac) ride around the bay and lagoon to spot sea turtles, sting rays, Flightless Cormorants and a variety of other birds. On board for lunch and then visit Moreno Point where a lava flow has covered the terrain in rock. On board for dinner and navigation.
Galapagos Day Five
Visit the only visitor site on Fernandina Island this morning where you can observe one of the largest marine iguana colonies in the Islands. On board for lunch and then an afternoon visit to Urbina Bay, one of the best places in the Galapagos to view the giant tortoise in its natural habitat. On board for dinner and navigation.
Galapagos Day Four
This morning you'll arrive in the Western Galapagos and Tagus Cove for one of the most iconic hikes in the Galapagos and the chance to kayak in the bay. On board for lunch and then an afternoon visit to Punta Vicente Roca for some of the best snorkeling in the Galapagos where sea turtles and sea lions abound. On board for dinner and navigation.
Galapagos Day Three
This morning you'll visit Buccaneer Cove for the chance to learn about some of the human history in the Galapagos and also kayak, weather permitting. On board for lunch and then visit to James Bay on Santiago Island for snorkeling and exploration along the shoreline to view Sally Lightfoot Crabs and sea lions. On board for dinner and navigation.
Galapagos Day Two
After a night of navigation, you'll find yourself at Genovesa Island in the north of the Galapagos. This morning you'll take a walk up Prince Phillip's Steps to search for Nazca and Red-Footed Boobies and take in the sweeping views of this area. On board for lunch before an afternoon visit to Darwin Bay for snorkeling and kayaking. On board for dinner and navigation.
Travel to the Galapagos Islands
Today you'll fly from the mainland to the Galapagos Islands. On arrival you'll be met by your vessel's guide and will begin your cruise activities. Your first activity today will be a visit to Bachas Beach for exploration along the shore and snorkeling with sea lions and other marine life.
